Fortified Wines

Throughout the years, Black Swan Wines have won numerous regional and state awards and medals, the best being a trophy & gold medals in 2002 for the region’s “Best Reds – our Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Nearly all of this boutique estate’s fruit is grown from large sturdy “pensioner” vines (65 years old) producing wine grapes which are fruit & flavour driven. The properties rich loamy soil is rich in nutrients & minerals which are vital to quality growth of the wine grapes. Prior to harvest, the vines are thinned & stripped of any secondary fruiting to ensure maximum quality of the new season fruit. Harvesting & sorting is done by hand so only the best grapes are selected for the season’s vintage.

Shiraz Port

A Solero produced port, robust with blackberry and mulberry and typical peppery Shiraz characteristics. For best maturation results, store in oak barrels
